Both New York and New Jersey have very good websites that will give you a myriad of information regarding the rights that you have as an employee. So you can go on the New Jersey or New York Department of Labor websites, and there’s a ton of material on there, answering a host of questions that you may have. And also, you can just talk to your local attorney, and they would be able to answer some of those questions for you as well.
