Our client needed to free up cash through a real estate transaction, but remained on the premises until they were able to secure a suitable alternative facility. KGG worked with the company executives to carefully draft the sale and leaseback documents and insure the company could accomplish its goals. When a new facility was located, the firm negotiated the commercial lease and handled the bank financing necessary to complete the transaction.

JCC Rockland Purchases Property for New Facility

KGG partner and Rockland County injury attorney Barry S. Kantrowitz advised the Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Rockland in their recent purchase and development of a property in West Nyack, NY. The JCC did a gut renovation of the 15 acre, 135,000 square foot site in order to develop it into a multi-use community center including a sports and athletic facility. Barry aided them in acquiring the necessary municipal approvals. The firm assisted in the negotiation of the acquisition, handled various legal issues arising during the development and build-out of the facility and was integrally involved in the IDA Bond funding of the project.
