TTI Outdoor Power Equipment’s Ryobi electric pressure washers have been reported to overheat and, in some cases, explode –resulting in severe injuries.
Kantrowitz, Goldhamer & Graifman, P.C. is investigating harmful defects in the capacitators of models RY142300 and RY142711VNM Ryobi electric pressure washers. Approximate 764,000 units have been recalled due to the capacitator’s tendency to overheat, which can result in explosions that eject metal parts from the machine, posing a serious risk of injury.
