On March 18, 2024, KGG filed a Complaint on behalf of a proposed class of residents who suffered property damage as a result of the fire at Evergreen Court Assisted Living Facility on March 23, 2021. The suit was brought against the entities and individuals who owned the Assisted Living facility the night of the fire as well as employees and contractors whose negligence caused the fire. The case is Alvina Edel, et. al. v. Evergreen Court Home for Adults SP LLC et. al., Index No. 031465/2024, Rockland County Supreme Court.
