What is the EEOC and how does it operate?

The EEOC is short for Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. It is the federal administrative body that oversees claims of discrimination or harassment. It’s not a court, it’s a place that you have to file your charge prior to bringing a claim in a federal or state court under a federal law.

Client Review

"During a challenging time in my life, the Kantrowitz, Goldhamer & Graifman, P.C. team acted as my lawyers and friends. They listened to me lament about my situation. They always treated me with kindness, understanding, and, of course, the best legal advice. I appreciate the support and guidance they gave me throughout the process."
