Well, if you’ve got a pre-existing injury, obviously the new accident, the person responsible for the new accident, did not cause that injury. But if your pre-existing condition was aggravated or exacerbated by whatever happened in the new accident, the difference between what you had before and what you have now is certainly part of the damages that you can recover in your claim.
