Kantrowitz, Goldhamer & Graifman, P.C., is currently investigating Nevro Corp., (“Nevro”), regarding a data breach affecting the personal information and protected health information of an undisclosed number of patients. Nevro is a medical device company based in Redwood City, CA. On December 1, 2024, Nevro became aware of suspicious activity on its network. An investigation determined an unknown individual gained access to a number of Nevro systems, and may have taken certain information from the network, between November 21st and December 1st, 2024.
On April 2, 2025, Nevro notified the California Attorney General that the following sensitive information may have been compromised:
- Full names
- Social Security numbers
- Driver’s license numbers
- Medical information
- Health insurance information
- Financial Information including account number, credit or debit card number
