Former teen heartthrob David Cassidy, best known for his role as Keith Partridge in The Partridge Family¸ was recently served with a divorce from his wife after 23 years of marriage.

Gossip site TMZ reported on the filing last week. Sue Cassidy has reportedly been living separately from David for the last four months. David was arrested last month in Los Angeles for driving under the influence (DUI). He is currently in rehab—the arrest was his third DUI.

“I am truly heartbroken that our marriage is ending,” Sue told TMZ. “This has been looming for some time.”

“I’m glad David is getting the help he needs and I am confident he will come back better and stronger than ever,” Sue said.

The couple have one son together, Beau, a 23-year-old singer/songwriter.
