KGG Investigating Midwestern Pet Food Recall of SPORTMIX Dog and Cat Food

By Kantrowitz, Goldhamer & Graifman, P.C.Class Action

KGG is investigating the Midwestern Pet Food recall of its SPORTMIX brand dog and cat food due to toxic levels of Aflatoxin that have caused illness and death in pets.

KGG is currently investigating a putative class action related to the recall of several formulas of Sportmix brand due to Toxic Mold. Many pets have died already and the FDA issued a nationwide alert about Toxic Mold in SPORTMIX PET FOOD. Many varieties were recalled after pets started dying. Buyers of SPORTMIX PET FOOD could be compensated. Recall lots include the following varieties:

  • Sportmix Energy Plus
  • Sportmix Premium High Energy
  • Sportmix Original Cat

If you have purchased any of the Sportmix varieties and wish to speak with the attorneys at the firm about this matter, please contact class action attorney Melissa R. Emert, Esq., or Gary S.
