Incident Overview:
On April 12, 2025, DaVita discovered that a ransomware attack had encrypted portions of its network. A report was filed with the SEC on April 14, 2025. Nearly a month later, the investigation into the full scope of the breach is still ongoing, with no definitive timeline for resolution. The extent of the impact remains under assessment, and the longer the investigation continues, the higher the risk that sensitive personal data may be further compromised.
