$14 Million Verdict For Bergen County Victims

A Bergen County jury awarded $14 million to three courageous women we represented, all of whom were sexually assaulted by Dr. Carl Renner, a physician practicing in Hasbrouck Heights. Their story gained public attention after a Kane In Your Corner investigation exposed the details.

Despite previous complaints, Osler Medical Group — the practice Renner worked for — failed to take appropriate action, even though allegations dated back as far as 2008.

We took the case to trial, determined to get justice. After a powerful presentation of evidence and testimony, the jury agreed with us and awarded a total of $14 million: $4 million each to two of our clients (one shared with her husband), and $6 million to a third client who chose to remain anonymous.
