Ronald E. Stiskin is passionate about assisting families and individuals in transition. Ron is an experienced Wills Trust and Estates attorney who joined KGG as an associate in 2018. Whether securing educational services for children with special needs; planning for the future of disabled adults; or helping seniors and their families identify their next steps, Ronald is committed to guiding his clients to their best outcome.
Ron Stiskin graduated from Harvard University in 1986 and from Dalhousie Law School, Nova Scotia, Canada in 1991 (LL.B.). He was admitted to the Nova Scotia Bar in 1993 and to the New York State Bar in 1996. He is a member of the Elder Law and Special Needs and Trusts and Estates sections of the New York State Bar Association, as well as of the Bar Association’s Committees on Special Education and Issues Affecting People with Disabilities. He is also a member of the New York City Bar Association, the Rockland County Bar Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (COPAA).
In addition to his legal training and experience, Ron has thirty-three years experience as a meditation practitioner, instructor, and teacher with a background in counseling. Ron brings insight and compassion into all his dealings with clients. He is a participant in the Contemplative Lawyers Group of the New York City Bar Association.
