Mr. Perlmutter’s diverse skills developed over more than twenty years have enabled him to develop a general practice that focuses primarily on divorce litigation and employment law. He is a member of the Rockland County Bar Association and the Rockland County Employment Law Committee, the New York City Chapter of the National Employment Lawyer’s Association, as well as the New York and New Jersey Bar Associations, and the Rockland County Bar Association. Mr. Perlmutter has also been a member of the Human Resources Committee with the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey, where he has lectured on various topics related to employment law. He is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey state and Federal courts. Mr. Perlmutter’s representative clients range from individuals and small businesses to one of the nation’s largest luxury hotel and resort companies.

Outside the Office

Randy was an Articles Editor for the New York Law School International Comparative Law Journal and is a member of the Moot Court Association. He returns to New York Law School annually as a judge of various moot court competitions including the Robert Wagner Labor & Employment National Competition. Mr. Perlmutter is also a member of the Journal of International and Comparative Law.

Professional Profile

Randy J. Perlmutter is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and New York Law School, where he was an Articles Editor for the New York Law School International Comparative Law Journal and is a member of the Moot Court Association. He joined KGG in 2002 and became a partner in 2007. Randy returns to New York Law School annually as a judge of various moot court competitions including the Robert Wagner Labor & Employment National Competition.

Mr. Perlmutter began his legal career as a Regional Director and Human Resources Manager for a nationwide retail corporation. Mr. Perlmutter also worked as in-house counsel at a high-end fashion company where he regularly advised upper management and field management on policies, practices and procedures related to employment law matters.
