Matrimonial questions require a consultation in person or by telephone.
- The cost of a matrimonial consultation is $300.00 per half hour with Mr. Goldhamer. If you require more time with Mr. Goldhamer, additional time is billed at $300.00 per one half hour. Our hourly rate is not $600.00. It ranges from $85 to $425 per hour depending on the individual doing the work. Our average matrimonial hourly rate was $292 per hour in 2007, 2008, and 2009.
- First, however, you will meet with a paralegal who will spend approximately 20 minutes with you obtaining basic facts concerning your marriage and finances.
- Thereafter, you will watch a short video which will answer many common questions about a divorce. This will take approximately 20 minutes.
- There is no fee for your meeting with the paralegal or watching the video.
- The whole matrimonial consult (including the time with the paralegal & watching the video) should l take about one hour.
- When you leave Mr. Goldhamer you will know all your rights and risks.
